Reason Why MTV base Awards Didn’t Hold In 2011

This is authoritative, the 2011 edition of the MTV Africa awards could not hold in South-Africa because the major sponsor, GLO pulled out of the deal at the last minute.

The pull out according to sources, broke the heart of the organizers because they had turned down the offer of a South- African based company after the mouth watering offer made by the Nigerian based telecoms giant.
